Here you will find women who have given me great pearls of wisdom, whether personally, through their blogs, or both. They are women who I see in Titus 2:

Titus 2:3-5 (NASB77)
3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips, nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,
4 that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be dishonored.

Women like these are not easy to find these days so when you do, treasure them! In no particular order, meet:

530890239_401ee480da_m.jpgSally Clarkson: Sally has a heart for home. She is a great encouragement in helping mothers like me keep their hearts in their home instead of everywhere else! She is giving and genuine. She is the author of several books to help guide families, and women in particular, in their roles and earnestly spurs them to embrace this noble calling.

She has blessed and challenged me to take a closer look at my home school as it is and view it as discipleship training first. You can find Sally at her personal blog: I Take Joy and her ministry website Whole Heart Online

Abiophotos2219-3-2nn Voskamp: Ann is not afraid to admit she deals with a lot of dirt…mostly in her own heart (her words). Her words are captivating and drew me in when I first read her interview at Heart of the Matter Online.  She is teaching me about spiritual disciplines through her weekly community “get together” – Walk With Him [Wednesdays]. It is powerful friends. I encourage you to pay Ann a visit. You won’t regret it. Ann  has some books published as well, including A Child’s Geography.

She has blessed and inspired me to journal in a way I’d never known, and not just for journalings sake. But to grow deeper in relationship to the Father, and to leave a trace of life as each day comes and goes. We hardly know what fills them when we don’t take the time to write it down. You can visit Ann at her blog Holy Experience.

20884_4783Robin: Robin is such a sweet spirit; a gentle woman who I am getting to know through several channels. She shares her wisdom and resources on her blog, Robin’s Egg Blue (cute title, eh?).  She and her husband have two teenage daughter’s, who own Noble Rose Press, home of the “His Story Paper Dolls” (a definite must see).

She has helped point me in the direction of several help aids and encouraged me greatly as a mother. She has blessed me so much on more than one occasion, answering specific emails and the kind words that have accompanied them. I encourage you to visit her at her blog and read through her archived posts.

Jacque Dixon: Jacque has strong, biblical convictions (as we all should) and sticks by them, even in the face of disputation. She has a big heart for those women who have been left single, raising children, yet who desire to remain at home [when possible] to train their children. She has created a ministry called Gleaning the Harvest to help support these widows and encourages others to help as well. In addition, Jacque and her eldest daughters run a wonderful website, which is fairly new, called Training Daughters, Teaching Wives.

Jacque captured my inexperienced heart when I first happened upon her daughter’s blog: Amanda at The Daily Planet. I was in such awe of the love Amanda showed for God through her blog and her level of maturity, I specifically asked Amanda if her mom had a blog. I wanted to know her secret!  I have not been sorry friends! Jacque has challenged and encouraged me as a wife, mother, and homeschooler. She has also helped me with some specific challenges I have faced. Please, visit her personal blog at Walking Therein.
