Deuteronomy 11:18-21 (New Century Version)

18 Remember my words with your whole being. Write them down and tie them to your hands as a sign; tie them on your foreheads to remind you.19 Teach them well to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.20 Write them on your doors and gates21 so that both you and your children will live a long time in the land the Lord promised your ancestors, as long as the skies are above the earth.

My overall goal is to continue to work on the goals until they are mastered. Some will come more easily then others and I will not set myself up for failure by trying to work on too many at once.*

  1. Those are very well thought out goals. I love the idea of adding to them as the year progresses. :D

  2. Thanks for sharing your goals, and breaking them down so clearly. I hadn’t thought about academic goals. I do those at the start of the school year, but this would be a good time to reevaluate and refocus.

I like the categories, too. We wear so many hats, it is good to have a vision for growth in each of those areas.

  3. You are so organized with your thoughts. I LOVE that! Great goals. I loved the Help Meet book by the Pearls. It shed some light on a lot of things. Not sure what state you are in, but they are out here in Orange County, California January 16-17 for FREE!!!!

  4. Hi, WOW after reading your goals, I’m feeling like I need to spend more time praying and asking the LORD for help in setting some goals for myself and for my family.. Thank you sharing and thank you so much for sharing the heart of the LORD…

  5. How am I just now finding your site?! I guess because it was time for me to find it. :)
Your list has inspired me to set more specific goals in every area of my life.
Maybe i’ll do a summer to summer goal plan since I don’t want to wait until Jan.

  6. I love the way you have written out your goals in such detail. I really need to do this. Getting older (I’m 40) I am much more forgetful, and this would help me to stay focused on what is IMPORTANT so much! Thank you for sharing!

  7. write the vision and make it plain and it will come to pass……..
